Well I went out to check on my peach tree after leaving it for a little while. I had thinned this just after the fruit started to show up. I thought I had done a much better job than I apparently had. After looking things over a bit I determined that the best thing to do was to go ahead and thin things out a little. Hopefully I’m not too late. The other smaller tree is already giving us great tasting peaches. This tree won’t have any ready for several weeks based on their size right now although they may not be getting to full size this year. Next year I’ll have to do better at going back after the first pass to make sure that I don’t do this again. Last year the peaches didn’t produce well at all so I’m super happy to have the problem of too many this year.
