Wiring Mess
So this is not something I created, but it is the way most of the wires in my life look. We had our internet provider run a wire over ground almost 2 years ago to get us up and running. They were supposed to come and bury the line within a couple to a few months. I was able to not be bothered by the wire too much. It was very inconvenient when mowing the lawn, and I’m not sure it was really designed to have the kids riding their bikes over it etc. etc. One thing about it that I didn’t understand is that at some point they chose to have the line wrap all the way around our house. This time I was able to catch them and have them move the connection point to the opposite side of the house. This shortened the wire quite a bit. It also limited the amount of burying they had to do of the line. There were no sidewalks to cross, I just thought it made great sense.
The guys doing the work were patient with me asking them to move things around, and waiting for me to test the connection and things. The company overall was way too slow to send them out, but the guys doing the work were excellent.
I’ve been blessed to deal with several great people lately. I even had a good experience at the DMV recently if you can believe that. There are lots of great people out there.
