One of the activities at the party Lissa threw for the girls was bobbing for apples. I’m not sure I’ve actually ever tried to do participate in that game. I can’t say for certain, but I definitely can’t recall ever trying this. 

I got the assignment to get some apples when I was at the store picking up some other items. I thought they were to be cut up and served with other food in a bowl on the table. Luckily I bought enough for the kids to have some fun playing. Had I known what the plan was I may have chosen smaller apples, and purchased several more to be sure there would be enough. Things worked out just fine, and everyone that wanted to was able to play.
