I found some pictures of a family trip we took to Capital Reef National Park. We have a family friend that owns a piece of property in the area. She has over 60 acres and has created an amazing little place down there. It was kind of her to invite us down to stay in her place and enjoy the wonderful country.
We took the kids hiking to so many awesome places while we were there. The property has some dry washes that were great to explore. Our kids ran all over climbing everything they could. I think they could have stayed the entire summer and not gotten too board.
I think we did about 3 different hikes in capital reef national park. Each of the hikes was well worth the time and effort. We haven’t been back to spend anytime there since, but we’ll fix that soon. It would be amazing to find some land in an area so beautiful. I’m guessing that’s not in the cards for us, but it would be fun to have a get a way location where we could slow things down and get into the wild.
