We took these pictures a few months ago. They were part way through tearing things down. The old Provo Temple wasn’t my favorite looking temple when I first saw it, but it has been growing on me over the years. I’m sad that this building had to go in order to make way for a new and improved option. We are blessed to have so many temples nearby, but even with all of them here, it is difficult to get an appointment. I need to get back down there and see what progress they’ve made in the last couple of months. If things keep moving like they have been, then we’ll be getting another temple announced nearby within the next couple of years. Hopefully they’ll build another several hundred around the world over the next few years.
