We were out in Saratoga Springs several weeks ago with some time to kill. The weather wasn’t the best for bird watching, but we gave it a shot anyway. I’m sure there were some bald eagles somewhere out there, but we didn’t find any of them. I think we caught some hawks and maybe a golden eagle.
I really need a longer lens to capture decent shots of birds. In reality I need significantly more patience to get the shots I’d like to get. Maybe some day I’ll have the time and be willing to spend it sitting still and watching.
I probably should have left some of these shots out. Of course the ones with the power lines are not so awesome. Others are not very sharp. These are all the shots we got with my camera. It’s a little embarrassing to show some of these, but it is what it is.
