We got out for a little hike up buffalo peak this afternoon with the family. It is a great 1/2 mile hike on the back side of squaw peak. That was perfect for the group of hikers we had today. The trees are already starting to change color, and the temperature was perfect. Exploring in our own backyard is so much fun. The kids had fun sliding in the dirt, throwing rocks, and just being out in nature. The roads were dusty which wasn’t so great for the car that was just washed 2 days ago. It was worth a dirty car though to get out and play together a little. I’m excited for the next one.
This hike also gave us some good views from a different angle for mount Timpanogos. From the peak you can see the valley, including utah lake, BYU campus. Both Provo temples, and the American Fork temple as well. This was a great hike.
