Spent a little time tonight up at deer creek at sunset. That place is amazing. It was quite windy tonight, which is really disappointing. They are trying so hard to contain several fires in the area, and the wind makes that so difficult.
The temperature was pleasant, but not the best for getting in cold water. That was alright. We spent the time exploring around the lake, and relaxing. Everything worked perfectly, which is not something I usually count on, but wonderful when it works out. I grabbed a few shots of the sunset with my cell phone, since I hadn’t brought a camera along.
