Hanging out with the family
While were were together for Thanksgiving we were able to relax for a little while. Relaxing in the backyard and hanging out with the family was just what I needed. The weather was pleasant, and we had a little work to get done. With several people working together we were able to cut down a tree, and get it all cut up. We also pulled out a bunch of branches that had been piled up for a little while. As part of getting things cleaned up we started a fire and burned up a bunch of the branches and logs. The kids played on the rope swing and several of us sat around chatting while we tended the fire.
I really enjoyed looking at some of the pictures Lissa captured while were hanging out. It was so fun to have everyone just doing whatever they could to help out. The meals all came together, and the kids were always well cared for. I miss having a little baby around, so it was fun to help feed some of my nieces and nephews.
