Projects
Being a home owner has great advantages. It also comes with plenty of challenges. I took a couple of quick pictures of our latest little challenge. The kids were mowing the lawn, but after they got part way through the mower wouldn’t stay on. It would start up and rev, but then just die. When I got home from work I tired to get it to run, but with little success. In playing around with things, learned that I could keep it running fairly well if I sprayed wd40 into the carburetor every few seconds. My guess was that it had a fuel problem. I worked on verifying that the fuel was getting to the carburetor. With that I pulled it apart, but then had to get to work. I left my son with some ideas of what I would try, and took off. He was able to get the carburetor cleaned up, and reinstalled. The mower is now working again. I must say my projects like this don’t always go this way. I guess that makes it so I appreciate it that much more when things do work out. Life is great.
