Long Days

The last few days have been busy, long days, and I’m feeling pretty tired. Things are going well. The kids are doing great and life in general is moving along at a fine pace. I found myself waiting for a few minutes again recently, so I pulled out the camera and went for a short walk. On my way back to my appointment I saw this crow approaching. I attempted to get a shot, but this was the only frame I could grab before he was gone. Unfortunately I didn’t get the focus on the right spot, and I don’t think I had a fast enough shutter speed. I need to be a little faster at making those critical adjustments, or I’ll continue to end up with shots like this. 

I need more practice.
