Barn
So I came across this old barn the other day when I had a minute. I love the way old barns look. They are often weathered and worn, sometimes barley standing. Barns remind me of people. We go through things in life that sometimes leave us with missing boards, or a sagging roof. The solid color of youth will fade and we might have some stains from the years in the storms of life. Another observation I’ve made is that some barns are more well maintained, while others appear to suffer from neglect. I think that happens to people too. They have a lot of character. I also find it a bit easier to give an old barn the benefit of the doubt. With people it can be a little more difficult not to judge.
