We had an amazing stake conference last weekend. We had President Nelson, and Elder de Feo with us. It was very fun to sit and listen to those great men. The messages were uplifting and motivating. I learned a lot. I can’t believe how strong he looks for being a month under 92 years old. 3 of our family members sang in the choir, so I sat with the rest. We went very early and had pretty good seats. I brought the camera along thinking it might be fun to have a picture of him with our stake presidency. I didn’t want to pull out my camera and line up the shot though, so I tried to just point in the right direction just over the shoulder of the guy in front of me. That is not a great way to take a picture. I ended up with just these blurry images. I should have just used my cell phone.
One of my favorite parts of the whole thing was watching how they interact. I have one shot of President Nelson with his arm around President Smith. He also reached back and shook hands with several of the choir members. The blew kisses as he walked out, and shook hands the whole way. He was funny and witty during the talks, and his mind is sharp as a tack. It was wonderful.
