Quail

Lissa looked out back today, and saw all of these little guys lined right up on the fence. I haven’t seen them around the yard this year, but I guess they are still living nearby. Kind of fun to see them all lined up like that. I don’t know how well quail fly, but I guess they must fly a little to get up there in the first place. Hopefully we’ll be seeing them around a little more often. We enjoy our wildlife. 

I guess they all started to jump down, but a couple of them were walking back and forth. Lissa thought it looked like they were trying to decide how to get down. Maybe they were trying to build up the courage to take the plunge.
