The day didn’t go quite as planned. Some meetings and work ran a little longer than expected. The late events caused us to miss going to practice with the team, but the boys wanted to get out and do some riding. I needed to get to my next meetings, so we hurried out the door, and I was able to get a little bit of dirt riding in. The boys went a little further, but were able to get down in time to join for some of their activities as well.
The weather was great, and the time crunch meant that I got my best recorded time climing up to the trailhead. It’s great to be outdoors on the bike with the family. The boys are strong riders, and I glad they will wait for me.
