Lissa got a few shots of this little guy doing his thing at the pool. He is pretty amazing.

A few shots I took of a couple of logs. I thought these made for a decent contrast between them and the green trees all around. It's fun to get out with Lissa and spend time together and take pictures.
We got down to see the hot air balloons take off again this year. The Freedom Festival has several fun activities that we enjoy participating in as a family. The past couple of years there has been weather that stopped them from flying. This year was all clear.
The moms made the effort to take the kids on a hike. I'm grateful that they make the sacrifice and spend the time
a couple of shots of the boys playing in the summer snow. This will take awhile to melt away completely. Good times.
I've been trying to get out on photo walks as often as possible. On my trip to Atlanta I was able to get a little evening walk in. I found this weed that looked like a stick figure. I love the blur of the background to help make the simple little subject stand out a bit.
Another opportunity to play around with some night photography. I enjoy trying to capture the stars, and the milky way.
We always love to get out into the mountains. While we were up camping for fathers and sons recently we got to enjoy this amazing sunset. I know I've posted a bunch of sunset shots, but I thought these were still worth sharing.
Just a couple of images of some vines. I liked the way the light was hitting part of them and contrasting the back lit portion from the part still in the shadows.
Our son has started early to try and learn photography. He is developing a pretty good eye, and these shots he got at the sand dunes show that he is building his skill very well.
