Field Trip
My son dreamed that he was going on a field trip to the moon. I thought that was pretty great. He was a little sad when I told him it was just a dream and they weren't actually going to the moon.
Eclipse
The eclipse was totally amazing, and well worth the drive and traffic to go see it. I'm confused that the traffic could be so bad, but it was bearable. We had a good time and the total eclipse is unbelievable.
Moon Rise
We only had about 1 minute to try and capture this shot since it showed up right as we pulled in the garage. I didn't get it as well as I would have liked to, but this is what I got.
Moon behind faint clouds
I tried to grab a couple of shots of the moon the other day, but was not very successful. I just didn't have enough time to get set up before it was over. I need to be faster and more prepared to get the shot.
