Bones in a tree
I'm just not so observant. I walked right by these bones hanging out in a tree. Kind of crazy the things you see while hiking in the mountains.
Cherry Tree

Tulip
Lissa got out to play around with the camera the other day. She was able to get some great shots. Here is a shot right down into a tulip. It turned out awesome.
Tulips
The flowers are doing great this year. We had a scare with some deer eating them as they were just sprouting. Luckily the deer must have been able to get back in the mountains before they totally killed the tulips.
Wood Pile
I took this shot of a wood pile when I was out and about the other day. I only spent a couple of seconds, but I'm trying to look for things worth shooting, and then looking for ways to take shots that are a little creative. I have a long way to go.
Long Days
I had a few minutes to kill, so I took a little walk to try and see if I could find anything worth taking a picture of. I need to start taking some shots of random houses when I see them. There are things I can post about organization, and maintenance and such.
Awesome Bird
We went to farmington bay to try and see some bald eagles. We struck out on the eagles, but we were able to see some other wildlife and have a great time with the family. I love the way this guy is flying. It feels like he's all squished up.
