Lighting on the Mountains
The lighting was decent on the way home from work the other day. I tried to capture some decent pictures, and this is what I got.
Happy Boy
this trip to the lake was as fun as almost all of them. We have a happy boy pictured here.
Duck Landing
We tried to get out and see some bald eagles today. Unfortunately the weather refused to cooperate. Either it was too windy, or we just didn't have good timing, but we were not able to see any eagles. We'll have to do a better job of researching, and then go back up and try again. I don't know if we'll make it this year, or have to try again next year, but I would definitely like to try again.

Little Bird
I took a couple of shots of this little bird while killing time the other day. The lighting wasn't the best, but It was good to practice. There were several things I could have done better. I should have gone to multi shot mode, and adjusted the auto focus as well. I need to get to a point where I can do all those things without thinking in a couple of seconds. I'll get there if I can keep practicing.

Sludge
This was filling up the gutter when I went for a little walk the other day. We are not doing the best at taking care of our environment. I think this sludge is an example of an area where we could use some improvement.
Sunset Over a Mountain
I managed to have a few minutes for taking pictures at the golden hour. Life is great and it is so much fun to be out capturing nature. Life is good.
