Sailboat
This is a shot we got from our first trip out on the lake this year. We had a pretty good time even though it was cool and windy. The boat performed pretty well, so I'm hopeful it will do alright for this whole summer.
Poppies
Lissa and I went out for another photo walk. I started out a little frustrated this time, but we go things figured out, and had a good time. I am excited for our next opportunity. I need to start posting some of these to instagram and facebook I guess in order to get any traction around things.
Looks Like Paper
A shot Lissa got out in nature. I am happy that she has been able to get out, and play with the camera a bit. We live in such a beautiful place, it is fun to try and capture some of the beauty with the camera.
Cloudy Sunset
We were given an amazing sunset last night. The sky was stunning. I still can't believe everything that was going on.
Springtime Mountains
The mountains are fun to look at all year. I have particularly enjoyed them this year with all the snow at first, and now all the green. I don't ever get tired of being outdoors and taking in nature.
Neighborhood Cleanup
These are some of our great neighbors working together to help each other out. We hauled dozens of truck and trailer loads of garbage to the dump. Working together we were able to get it all done in just a couple of hours. Way to go everyone.
Hiking Break
Lissa and her friend took the kids out for a hike last week. The kids had a great time together enjoying nature and their friends. It is fun to have close friends, and great mountains to play in so easily.
Moon Rise
We only had about 1 minute to try and capture this shot since it showed up right as we pulled in the garage. I didn't get it as well as I would have liked to, but this is what I got.
Fire Truck at the School
The kids got to have a great time playing at school. The fire department comes over and uses their truck to spray water for them to play in. It was a cold day, but they were able to have fun anyway.
Baby Birds
We have some house guests for a little while. They came and brought their babies. We have enjoyed watching them take care of their eggs and now the new little babies. Nature is amazing.
