Mountain Sunrise
I didn’t know what exactly to expect when we went hiking to granddaddy lake in the uintas. I knew it would be amazing and beautiful, so I brought the camera along. We got moving pretty early, and while we were making our way to one of the many lakes to do a little fishing, I grabbed a few shots. This was probably a little after official sunrise, but the lighting was still great. I didn’t have a tripod, and I didn’t want to slow the others down too much, so I did my best while still hurrying. The light was just high enough to illuminate some of the plants. I liked the contrast between the lit up yellow grass or flowers, and the green and brown background. I wish I could capture the scene in a way to truly show of the grandeur, but this is the best I could do.
