The school has the kids build and fire off rockets for an assignment. There is something about firing off rockets that gets everyone excited. This year was great like always, and It was good to be able to spend a little time together in a new, fun situation. We have a bunch of rockets now. I need to set up a time to take the kids over to the field and shoot them off. I would still like to build the 2 liter bottle rocket that is filled with water, and then air is pumped in with a bicycle pump. Those things can launch pretty far, and I think the kids would love to do that kind of thing too. Maybe we could do that on one of the holidays when we don’t have a lot of activities planned.
