Sunflower
We successfully grew a couple of sunflowers this year. The kids helped to plant them, and considered them their plants. It is interesting how they kind of folded in half looking for the sun I suppose. They may have needed more water, or maybe they all bend down after the flower gets so big. We’ll need to do a little research for next year. It’s fun to have the the kids excited about something in the garden. They do like the raspberries too. I’ve not been the best gardener. I always end up with way more weeds than plants. I keep thinking I’ll do better this year, but then something comes up and I let it get away from me. We’ll try again next year.
