Swamp Land
We had a great time playing with the kids down by the lake. They love to throw rocks into the water. We tried skipping a few, but it was already getting dark, and there weren’t many rocks at the waters edge. I’m amazed how low the water is. Hopefully this will be a a wet winter, and we can make up some lost ground. I think people need to be a little smarter about their water usage too. If things continue the way they’re going now I can see a rock yard in my future. For now we’ll do our best to not use more water than necessary to keep the grass alive and mostly green.
It is great to have so many things to go see, and kids that love to see them with us. Nature always has something worth enjoying.
